Editorial policy
Bright Leisure Guide aims to be clear about what it knows, what it is interpreting and what remains uncertain. A confident tone is not a substitute for a sound explanation.
Accuracy and context
We check factual statements against suitable source material and distinguish established information from interpretation or opinion. We avoid unsupported precision and do not invent quotations, examples presented as real, or claims about testing. Where a detail cannot be confirmed, we omit it or make the uncertainty explicit.
Independence and interests
Editorial choices are made for readers, not to guarantee favourable treatment for a product, service or partner. Any material relationship that could affect how a piece is read is disclosed clearly beside the relevant content. Payment does not buy an editorial verdict.
Corrections
Readers can use the Contact page to flag an error and identify the passage and the correction they believe is needed. We review clear, verifiable reports, correct material mistakes and note significant changes where context calls for it. Disagreement about opinion is not itself a factual correction.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or partner-supported material is labelled where it appears and kept distinct from independent editorial coverage. Bright Leisure Guide may accept standing partner placements, which are identified as advertising or partner links rather than editorial recommendations. Some illustrations are AI-generated; where used, they are labelled, and they are not evidence that a depicted event or object is real.
